I had a successful career as a researcher and teacher of Information Systems for forty years in academics and industry. A lot of effort went into obtaining a bachelor’s in engineering and master’s in business in India, a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, becoming a chaired faculty member at Auburn University and accumulating finances to lead a good retired life.
I live in Avondale Estates, Georgia, with my wife, Lakshmi. Our children (Akila and Shiv), their spouses (Patrick and Deepa), and four grandchildren (Amara, Kareena, Kian, and Zayn) live close by and keep my engaged and active in life. We have approximately thirty relatives who live in the Atlanta area.
I have chosen the background of God Shiva (destroyer) in the photo to reflect the need for reflection and discrimination at this stage in my life.
